Why Pradosh begins at 5:46 PM in Jodhpur
Sunset, and with it Pradosh, comes 21 minutes later in Jodhpur than in New Delhi (5:25 PM). Jodhpur lies 4.2° west of New Delhi. The Earth turns through that in about 17 minutes, so on longitude alone the sun sets 17 minutes later here.
